Your lengthy and prompt response is much appreciated. I had a feeling this was the way to go, but I was hoping for a less tedious and chaotic procedure. (What does "IIRC there..." mean? I'm not great with TLA.) I take it you mean hose 8?

2018 328d xdrive Engine coolant refill
Hey there, everyone. I've looked all over the web and in this forum, but nobody seems to know the solution. My car has 62,000 miles on the odometer, and I'm not sure if the coolant has ever been drained. I would like to flush it out. So, here are my inquiries:

Re: Changing the Battery in Your Starter
Rather than take the chance with a lower-capacity battery that wouldn't fit properly in the space with the factory brackets, I opted for the MBZ battery since, if my memory serves me right, I couldn't find another non-MBZ battery with the same dimensions and CCA.

Re: Changing the Battery in Your Starter
I went to the shop in September 2024 and paid $280 with tax to replace my starter battery with a Mercedes battery after much study and anxiety. A two-year guarantee was included.

Re: !Valve cap!
Yes, I did read that. However, I also read that I should use the original gasket and get an aluminum one.

!Valve cap!
In your opinion, what should I do? The N52 engine is in my 2010 BMW X3 (E83). Would an aluminum valve cover be better than a plastic one?

Re: Okay, E46 crew, I need your help with this question.
I guess that's true if you're into collecting and think that low mileage is important. You should seek out a vehicle with 100-130k miles and completed rod bearings if you intend to drive it. Honestly, when you get it, it's like a whole recharge at this age. You may obtain a vehicle with 130,000 ...

Re: What it's like to upgrade Bose audio
Purchased from Crutchfield, as was the custom-made wiring harness. Everything was ready to go. Disconnect all cables. I also unhooked the CD player's wiring harness from the trunk of the vehicle. The new radio is equipped with CD, USB, and other features.

Re: Getting tossed around on the freeway in a sportage
I let the car argue with itself on the highway as I activated lane assist, even though I normally drive without it.Although it was quite helpful, I could feel the steering wheel continually adjusting while the car being whipped about.

Getting tossed around on the freeway in a sportage
I own a 2026 Sportage that is completely new. A 2018 Chevrolet Traverse was my previous vehicle. As soon as you hit the highway, this Sportage will throw you for a loop; it's that annoying! Today I put it through its paces to make sure it was running well, and it was. Are these autos more ...
