I clamped this one onto the vent while using a cellphone holder in my E70. Now I connect the Lightning charger to the G05, pair it with Bluetooth, and set it on the center rest.

It's much easier to implement idea 2 than recommendation 1. When you need to change the gasoline sender, you have to change the tank's fuel pump assembly.

If I had to guess, I'd say the sender is in trouble, but that's just speculation. After retightening the grounding point under the front passenger kick panel, my wacky gauge problems disappeared. As far as I remember, it was a 10mm socket.
