Re: B2200 Headers: Any Way to Make them Quieter?
In spite of the standard exhaust and Weber (since 2005) systems, both converters on my 1988 B2200 have been hollowed out. I haven't heard any difference in noise level, therefore I'm keeping the factory muffler.

Re: In search of a bumper cover grill for my 2003 CLK 430
I went to pick up a CLK 320 from the junkyard next to me, LKQ. They have a website where they display all the cars with images.
I spent $140 on the bumper.
Someone might have some new, unpainted clk430/55 amg bumpers for sale, but they're going for around $500.

Re: In search of a bumper cover grill for my 2003 CLK 430
With identical fog light connections and a straight bolt-on design, it's clear that the clk55 and clk 430 shared a bumper. The junkyard was where I found mine. After much waiting, I finally given up hoping for a clk430 or clk55 to be released. eBay was also of no assistance.

I went through the same thing with my clk55; in the end, I installed a clk320 bumper.

Re: Choices for a New D5 Engine
Your opinion matters to me, and I value and honor your principles, thoughts, and opinions. Having said that, I can't deny that, every once in a while, the lengthy travel to see relatives is something I look forward to and even needs. A brother resides around 900 kilometers south of me, another ...

Choices for a New D5 Engine
In Australia, I own a 2012 XC60 D5 equipped with a Polestar chip. It has clocked 260,000 kilometers, or 161,560 miles. Eventually (how much longer is anyone's guess), I've heard that Volvo plans to switch to electric vehicles exclusively. The idea of an electric vehicle, even a hybrid, makes me gag ...
