Re: options for on-board diagnostics scanners and code readers that can execute the valvetronic run-in

It appears that the Foxwell NT809 can handle it, with both wired and Bluetooth options to choose from.

Likely some cheaper options, as well as BMW software that is exclusive to Foxwell models.
The 809 supports software from any manufacturer, which is great news if your cars aren't BMWs, as I ...

Re: Officially Out of Commission for Nineteen Days or More

Wherever you go, I wish you the best of luck. My friend's control freak had noticed some irregularities with an alternative diagnosis. He was always irritated because of his Type A personality. Afterwards, he passed his eye exam and was able to retain his racing license after making a positive ...

Re: Hidden battery recall for the P550e?

It is quite strange, indeed. Due of my impending month-long absence, I have not yet scheduled the job. Since JLR has not communicated with me and my app indicates that my vehicle is in good health, I would like to know how the dealer received the request to fix it. To be honest, I'm confused and ...

Re: Locating a detachable connection

I appreciate your quick response. A metal eyelet is visible between my fingers; a black cable extends from its left edge to an unknown location; the quality of the photograph is lacking, my apologies.

Re: Locating a detachable connection

I will return to this later, but in the meanwhile, is it acceptable as is or does it need to be reinserted into the engine compartment? Is there a certain place for it, or would it be possible to just reattach it if, for example, that clip were to break? Thank you!

Locating a detachable connection

You may find more information about my recent electrical troubles in the "Misfire Mystery" thread.

This morning as I was digging under the car, I saw this hanging free. Located adjacent to the sump, this gasket was replaced together with the rocker and valley gaskets.

It appears to be a grounding ...
