Salutations everyone! Seek advice from the Braintrust folks.
Being the second owner, I purchased the SS a couple of years ago. The front bumper began to flake paint eight months after I purchased it. Quite a feat. "I can handle that," I reasoned. In my younger years, I painted and did body work on several occasions. Thus, I tracked down a clearcoat-equipped NGM spray kit. I primed it after cleaning, sanding, and cleaning it again. I painted the paint, then let it dry, sanded it, etc., but then the issue surfaced. Upon contact, the old paint began to wrinkle and flake off in all directions. I ended up getting injured while having a professional bumper reshot the long, grueling narrative. So far, so good. Now I'll get to the meat of the matter: does anyone know of a rock chip touch-up paint that doesn't cause the problems listed above?
If you have any advice, please let me know.

Re: Final polish
Chipex used to be my go-to, but they've temporarily stopped delivering to the US, I assume because of tariffs.
So far, I've just purchased a few of kits to test out.

Using Automotivetouchup.com has been a huge success for me.
Is it safe to say that I have tried spraying over oem? No. I still have the paints I purchased from them, whether it's GNT (no not radiant red tricoat) or GM GIE (WA 690F, Phanton Black Metallic). other from WA824T) been fantastic? Of course, I agree.
