For some reason, I just can't seem to get the dash clock to work. It takes me to a screen that looks like the clock settings screen, but it skips every 30 minutes when I try to modify the minutes by single digits, and then there's no visible method to "set" the time. Clicking "OK" will simply return you to the initial screen. Some "obvious" detail is surely slipping my mind.
If you can assist, that would be great!

A previous owner removed the entire COMMAND system when they swapped out the head unit in my 2003. The end result is that my car's secondary settings menus are inaccessible. The clock setting is the only thing I truly miss. To the best of my knowledge, the center console has never been "upgraded" and I do not have a new head unit. Even without Bluetooth, I've been considering getting a newer model so I can use my phone "hands free." I don't have the necessary MB handset to use the phone feature, which involves plugging it into a slot beneath the lower level of the center console armrest. More likely, something electrical is malfunctioning, maybe as a result of the wrong way to separate and reconnect the battery. I can't stress enough how frustrating it is that the clock cannot be adjusted. When it shows the wrong time, there's no such thing as a good clock.

I couldn't agree more. I was going to tape over the dash clock so I wouldn't stare at the wrong time until I remembered that I could "set" the clock by withdrawing the negative cable at noon. Well, I thought you might be interested to know that the cable-pull trick actually works. So, until you find a solution for your automobile, try pulling the cable around noon and making sure your clock is set correctly. Do it; you won't regret it!
Thanks to its Apple CarPlay, hands-free phone capabilities, backup camera, and other features, my Pioneer head unit has been a huge boon to me. These updates are great!
