Adapters for Vacuum Lines by Weber
Next month, I will install a new Weber carburetor in place of the existing one on my 1988 B2200. It was mentioned in the literature that certain vacuum lines or ports needed to be sealed. Do I require caps that slide over the lines or plugs that fit within the lines? Also, which lines should be blocked off?

This modification was performed on my 1986 B2000. I will take a few pictures and upload them.
Most of your queries may be easily answered by looking at the photographs.
I highly suggest creating separate plates for your egr and other items as well.

Whatever the case may be, I seem to recall that there are a couple beneath the manifold as well. Socks are a must.
Once you have the PCV and the vacuum advance for the distributor, that's pretty much it. Also, I captured a photo showing the plate positioned over the egr port. After constructing mine on a table, I mounted the whole manifold onto the vehicle.
When the adapters are sanded down to a perfectly smooth surface, the redline adapter set and linkage become quite attractive. The photographs also show that.
If you swap out the manifold for a header, your vehicle will look completely different. Worry no more about getting stuck in traffic.

MM....a fan shroud would be handy! Putting the shroud on the standard fan makes it function much better.

I just wrapped the wire harness and zip-tied it down, leaving most of the emission garbage attached to the passenger fender. I will eliminate it properly one day. Along with the pleated paper air filter, I have installed the Redline adaptor to accommodate a standard 5 1/8" neck air filter housing. The rectangular air filter was a pain to clean, dry, and oil; now I can do it much more quickly.

Invest in high-quality vacuum caps instead of cheap ones; the latter will become brittle and shatter in a matter of months. Let me explain how I know this.
For my part, I often utilize a combination of rubber vacuum tubing attached to an alternate intake manifold port and vacuum tubing that is either closed with a golf tee made of wood or both.
The EGR block off is available for purchase here.
