My last set of brake rotors corroded within weeks of purchase; I don't know if that's a good or negative indicator, but I'm looking for a replacement and was wondering which manufacturers are most reliable.

Hella High Carbon Coated (355118892) tires, which cost around $80 a pop at Rock Auto, have been great for me.

As long as the rust doesn't eat away at the steel, it's perfectly OK. The brands Brembo, ATE, Sebro, Zimmerman, and EBC are respectable, and you may even get good deals from the dealer on occasion.

On my C70, I had the original, factory-installed EBC (the red stuff for exciting driving). Even when I slammed on the brakes, they stopped the car in an instant; the pads are clean, with no brake dust; and they lasted for years. Although they are expensive, they are well worth it. Rely on the braking products offered by Volvo. They aren't significantly more costly than the aftermarket options.

Bosch is a great and affordable brand. I had them installed in my wife's S80 V8, but she wrecked the car before I could have them installed. Include guide plates and pads as well (additional pictures) I recently had the brakes done on my 2010 V70 R-Design, which, according to my research, utilizes the identical parts. Given my old years, I doubt I will ever have to adjust the V70's brakes again, therefore I'm considering selling them. They are cumbersome to transport, though.
