Fuse for Ignition Switch

In order to add a USB port to my 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet 2.0 Diesel (UK), I am attempting to install a fuse tap. I have searched high and low, but I can't seem to locate a fuse that trips only while the engine is running. The wipers, radio, air conditioner, heated seats, driver's and passenger's side, etc., have all had their fuses checked. Despite trying both choices, I am quite sure I have the tap in the right way around. I have also waited over an hour in case there is a delay in the system closing down, but none of them are ever switched down. Could you tell me where I went wrong?

Show us where Fuse Panel C is located on the driver's side of the instrument panel; it should be on the left side for left-hand drive vehicles and right-hand drive vehicles. Terminal 15 (switched) power bus and vacant spots for new custom circuits should be present in the black fuse carrier (ST1) of fuse panel C.

The response is appreciated. Is the fuse block removable in any way? I attempted to remove the top, but even though the bottom portion came out somewhat, I was unable to do so.

The black carrier block at the front, on the right, is ST1. To reach the area behind Fuse Panel C, you must first remove the bottom trim of the instrument panel, which is located above the driver side footwell. The fuse block should rotate into that gap after the time panel is removed. To do this, release the bottom tab from the side facing outward (the fuse side) and push upward.

One fuse for my compass mirror was located in the pass fuse panel. Compared to the American positive turn off, there aren't many based on the negative disconnect that these automobiles employ. I can find it if you need me to.
