Underpowered 98 SLK230
You must assist me.
When I press down on the accelerator, the car doesn't accelerate very well. Have no idea what else to do. The car's mileage is under 98,000. I swapped out the throttle body and acceleration sensor located under the hood (my old one had no rear cover and all the gears were showing). I am uncertain if the new throttle body needs to be modified for this particular vehicle. There does not appear to be an adaptation option in the star diagnostics.
I cleaned the MAP sensor, but it didn't matter. The engine light is not on. It starts easily and idles smoothly.
I verified that the acceleration sensor was receiving power. Although my connector has two power wires, the wiring diagram only shows one wire that supplies power to both sensors. Can you tell me which one is malfunctioning? One has 4.99V and the other has 3.99V. Everything appears to be in order on the ground.
Experimented with smoke on the intake side and found no signs of vacuum leaks.
The connection to the ECU was double-checked as well. Everything is fine.
The spring-loaded throttle flap end spins smoothly as the engine is accelerated. Additionally, I ran all of the electronics through the star system, but I didn't find anything noteworthy.
Thank you for assisting me. It's perfect for me.

Are you a clogged cat or am I shooting from the hip? To test whether it runs better, I would disconnect the oxygen sensors that are upstream. Another option is to use a fuel pressure tester kit to check the fuel pressure. Necessitate reviewing the basics. For what reason is the engine making such a noisy noise?

Good day. I value the recommendations you've made. Though I have not yet checked on the felines, that is a great idea. Not having the proper fittings made my attempt at a fuel pressure test fail miserably. I will investigate it.
I couldn't help but hear the engine's whine. As soon as I fix the slow acceleration. What makes the engine so loud? I'll find out. To be honest, I'm not sure, but I suspect that the issue with acceleration is related to electricity.
Over the weekend, I will review it and report back with my findings.
Much obliged.

Did you try resetting the throttle?

I haven't, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get this fixed.
I am grateful.

Kompressor malfunctioning?!
