Transforming L322 into L405... Tell me what I need to know.
For the past decade and a half, I've enjoyed the open road in my used 2011 L322 SC. Just a handful of small things are bothering me, nothing major. There is a 2020 SVAuthobiography Dynamic that has only been driven 40,000 miles. What dangers am I taking on, and what should I seek out?

With only one owner and few miles on the odometer, it must be a fantastic vehicle. Inspecting your vehicle: some items are universal and some are model-specific.
Documentation of services rendered. Is the dealer a regular customer?
2. Regularly change the oil. No matter how many views you have on the matter, the optimal interval is every 5,000 miles, and anything above 10,000 is unacceptable.
3. Pipes for coolant. That year's pipes will still be made of plastic and will require replacement at some point. I seriously doubt they have been finished yet, given the year and the low mileage. To have someone else do it would cost around $2,500 to $5,000.
4. Suspension by air. Verify if there is a leaning motion of the vehicle. A set of front struts is probably going to be necessary given your vehicle's age and mileage. Additionally, sway bar bushings, which can be particularly problematic on SVRs due to the owner's potential for more forceful driving.
5. No timing chain problems should occur on a 2020 if oil changes have been performed correctly and regularly.
6. Take it to a reliable mechanic who can diagnose the problem by reading the computer's stored errors and finding out whether the engine light was cleared recently.
7. Aggressive driving can cause motor mounts to fail. Beautiful though they are, SVRs beg to be driven.
You have my best wishes. That does sound absolutely stunning!

To check if the car's drains are rusted, open the sunroof and look in the corners. If they are, then the car has likely spent years near the ocean, and you can protect the metals from further corrosion by applying Dc 111 to the affected areas.

Before settling on my brand-new 405, I researched several ATBs; unfortunately, three of them had massage seats that didn't work and were really uncomfortable. Getting it done at the dealer could cost around $2,500, but there's a chance the leather won't look brand new. I assume these are common problems because none of the vehicles I checked out had more than 30,000 miles.
In addition, make sure to service it fluid wise and apply a coating or rustproofing agent to the fuel tank skid and the ACE lines that are concealed under the cover on the US driver side. They share a common ingredient: cheese. +on the pipes that carry the coolant. Either get them done professionally or do it yourself; either way, go with all aluminum and OE plastic. Factory aluminum parts are available for the job, and I highly recommend getting them.
