Your vehicle's alternator or voltage regulator is my initial concern. Second, I think you should look for another auto shop. A code is left by any check engine or service engine soon light. Until deletion, it will remain stored even though it is no longer active.

Unfortunately, the G60 only comes with faux leather (Veganza) and Dakota is far more durable than Merino.
