Re: My electric car has caught the attention of the local fire service.
The manual charger release should not be overlooked. Even I can tell that they would seldom ever require that. Worst case scenario: you need a DC fast charger but the handle gets trapped in the connector. At least they'll be aware that, below the liner, inside the trunk, there's a pull tab.

Re: A5 cabriolet headliner repair
I have exhausted every possible means to eradicate it. Upgrades include: pedal commander, 100w fog lights, rs grill, drill slotted rotor with ceramic pads, tinted tails, debadging, smart top controller (so my fob will work softtop), p3 gauge in vent, wireless for mmi, a new turbo, a high flow cat ...

Re: A5 cabriolet headliner repair

Re: A5 cabriolet headliner repair
A fabric piece attaches to the bars, which is typically simply bonded to the headliner during factory installation. After aligning the glue line, I inserted a transparent corkscrew through both the lining and the cloth. Assuming you're doing this, I can provide some images in case it remains ...

A5 cabriolet headliner repair
This is my action. thumb tacks with a corkscrew. cover it up so the adhesive lines are visible. assembled them again by hand. thread the corkscrew through the headliner and the cloth that is dangling from the support bar. start in the middle and work your way outwards in pairs. It works wonderfully ...
