The 2006 BMW X3 3.0i's dashboard battery light flashes on and off.

On occasion, after starting the vehicle, I will occasionally see a flashing battery light. Every cable has been double-checked and tightened as necessary by my mechanic. The serpentine belt is also operational. His multimeter is giving him typical readings. By the time I reach the mechanic's shop ...

Have you made sure to lock the suspension at the normal ride height? For a detailed explanation, refer to the owner's manual.

Re: Hidden battery recall for the P550e?

Does this mean it's unique to YOUR Rover? I mean, come on, there would be more of an incentive than simply getting you to do open battery surgery if that were the standard model for everyone.

Then again, you never know! It seems janky.

Re: Trust Deficits in My 2025 RRS

A lot of the criticism leveled at JLR is well-founded in speculation and outdated data, as you say. Some people even don't have a JLR vehicle. From what I can tell, my RRS is reliable, and it shows. Both the engine and the suspension of the P400 receive excellent reviews. Just a pleasant, unusual ...

Trust Deficits in My 2025 RRS

You won't find any. Because of the negative reputation that has long followed Range Rovers, I was hesitant to purchase my first SUV, let alone a Range Rover. In my opinion, the SUV is deserving of a positive assessment.

After 18,000 kilometres on the road, it still outperforms my trusty BMW sedans ...

Re: The battery indicator is on, however

No matter the RPM or anything else, I'll just pretend the light is on.

We still need to verify a few things:

The electronic control unit (ECU) may assume the system is undercharging if the battery sensor is faulty, which may cause the light to turn on. It is an integral part of the pricey ...

Re: transferring to A5 from TT

Wow, that's fascinating. It makes me question whether it was shipped from the factory with any gaps. Other than that, I am at a loss to explain it.

Re: transferring to A5 from TT

So glad you were able to resolve that.
Just a couple inquiries. What kind of vehicle is it? A transmission fluid is probably what they mean when they say "clutch fluid" if that isn't the case. Reviewers have suggested changing the transmission fluid every 40,000 miles.
What is your car's mileage?

So, I'm assuming you've already made sure the trunk isn't hiding anything, like a spare tire that may come free. One of the back wheels may have loose lug bolts. Unfortunately, the most inconspicuous details are often the ...
