Re: I need some technical information about injectors.
Regrettably, he is firmly entrenching himself. What a shame, because that car is absolutely stunning. I just don't believe it anymore.

Re: I need some technical information about injectors.
My research online indicated that they were tty bolts, so I appreciate your confirming that. Stretch or not, the assembly was a major letdown. It is a matter of trading standards because the dealer is also refusing to accept returns. Really appreciate you sharing that information, man!

I need some technical information about injectors.
The question I have is whether any technicians are available to give me some advice. It only took a few hours after I bought my 2014 Outlander for the top injector to pop. During my investigation, I found that one of the three bolts wasn't even an injector bolt, the other two were bent, and the ...

Re: Disc replacement in the back
Sure thing. I believe the 46mm is what you're looking for. We use a big one for the back and a tiny one up front; the smaller one is for the 4Matic front shaft.
In this case, a big adjustable wrench (shifter) might be useful. Take a look at the torque setting; I believe it's 40Nm. Vibration problems ...

Re: The oil level
Remember that heated oil expands. I get that the manufacturer recommends checking the temperature at room temperature first thing in the morning, but even after 30 minutes, it's warmer than it would be after sitting all night, so it will always read somewhat higher.

Re: The Benefits and Drawbacks of Soft Top Cleaning
When left in the sun for a time, curls will become more straight. First, I use a vacuum to pick up leaves and other debris. Then, I use a sticky lint roller to get rid of any leftover lint. After that, I wash the car and its upholstery. You may get a soft top package from Chemical Guys that includes ...

Re: Issue with mmi3g high-optic fiber cables
Your question is unclear to me. Is this referring to the 8T0919604B 6.5-inch screen in the instrument cluster, or to a different model with a greater resolution in the High/Plus trim levels? In my experience, a malfunctioning screen should not cause the system to shut down in the manner you describe ...

Re: Issue with mmi3g high-optic fiber cables
Sure, your MMI3G is a Basic (BNav) model. It's not often that you see face-lift models with this module, although I did see one in late 2016. Even if the BNav main unit's HDD were to fail, this wouldn't be an issue because it doesn't have any mass storage. Isolating the system from the MOST fiber ...
