That 1.3/4a90 Colt with the 192,000 kilometers on the odometer is new to me. The previous owner hadn't actually serviced the car. In any case, I swapped out the oil and filter as well as the furnace and cabin filters.
After deciding to change the spark plugs, the car began to misfire (cyl4) and arc a coil, even though it drove fine before. Excuse me? I replaced the coil. The car resumed normal operation, but experienced a hesitancy or misfiring when accelerating. Check engine light...ouch.
Following the replacement of the new (clean) "original" NGK plugs, coil nr1 arced.
My question is this: did switching to new plugs (not NGK) put too much strain on the coil? I was using ENKER iridium sfl65ipr11. The instructions specify using only one kind of NGK plugs.
As far as I can see, the timing chain remains same.

Re: Ignition coils that are causing a 2010 Colt to misfire?
In order to check the chain, I recently removed the valve cover. It seemed great—tight and well-oiled. Additionally, every single cog tooth that I could make out looked fantastic. For the time being, I will proceed with this chain...

As a rule, NGK are the most dependable and top-notch.
Reinsert NGK.
Reinsert NGK.

Salutations once more. The rear shocks were taken off...unique (and corroded!) The name is Mitsu. Where can I acquire one or two of these? The left cup, which holds the upper bushings, was irreparably damaged. Please refer to the image.
Thank you.
