In a perfect world, he would construct this vehicle.

It appears they have done it before...

This Fiberfab Jamaican II V8 was up for auction on BaT Auctions and sold for $24,250 on June 17, 2022 (Lot #76,328). It was accompanied by a trailer.

I like that over the drawing he made for me. He was at a Good Guys car show when I saw him eighteen years ago. To support progeria research, he was signing t-shirts. I inquired as to his method for striping a GT. In one minute, he sketched this. I took a more daring approach, not using his design, but I still have that framed t-shirt in my garage. Take a look at the split bumper.

The side fender gills or extractors seen on Corvette Stingrays from 1968 and 1969 are great; they provide a functional solution to the problem of hot engine cooling air. His little film glossed over what appears to have been an intriguing modification he made to the rear kamm tail.

In sum, the 65 Experimental GT designs by Schnell and Nasr, which can be seen in the Projekt 1484 book, are intriguing enough to warrant a second glance. These designs include variants on the production car's hood, front grill, and rear kamm tail.

People are still interested enough in this automobile to try to modernize it today, which speaks something about its outstanding core design!

In all candor, I find the exterior design of the GT concept/prototype to be more "modern" than that of the finished vehicles. The gentle curves likely have a role.

I don't like the hood, and his comment about the headlights shows he doesn't understand the "nuances" that make the HT so cool to many people. Anyone who knows how the air vents are run will know that putting side vents on the rear side of the front fenders won't work unless they're fake. Even though they are a major annoyance, the headlights are an integral component of the GT's unique and intriguing design. Although Foose does provide some intriguing concepts, I find this "rendering" to be unappealing.
Of course, "to each their own" applies.
