Unusual vibration at 80 mph and missing label beneath the hood: 2022 RS3.
Six weeks ago, I got my hands on a 2022 RS3, and ever since then, the sound of that five-cylinder engine has completely captivated me. At around 80 miles per hour, I start to feel a vibration through the seat and the wheel. It's not balanced at all; rather, it seems like something is spinning. It has been mentioned that vibrations can be caused by a wear sensor that is not properly placed on these carbon ceramic brakes; however, I am unsure as to whether my vehicle was shipped from the manufacturer with the ceramic or steel rotors. Even though I know both alternatives come in red, the fact that the calipers are red doesn't help. Additionally, I discovered yesterday when rummaging around behind the hood that there is no build sticker present. No option codes are displayed on the standard Audi label that is often found on the spare tire well or the trunk floor, and the same is true with my RS3. The placard on the driver's door jamb just carries the vehicle identification number (VIN) and information about the tires; unlike other Audis, this one doesn't have any option codes. Would you happen to have the RS Sport Suspension Plus with dynamic ride control or is it only the basic RS suspension? I'm trying to work it out. I can't tell if the suspension setting in drive choose only modifies the dampers or if it has other functions as well. Both the papers and the window sticker were removed by the previous owner. On the other hand, I'm not sure what to do with the small button on the dashboard that depicts an automobile with a squiggly line underneath it.

The owner's handbook was not sent to you? Are the wheels still on the vehicle? This can be due to a flat tire or an unevenly shaped wheel.

May I inquire about the mileage of this vehicle? With one RS3 that I had for three years, I put over 100,000 miles on it (and replaced the rotors and pads at about 75,000). The kind of vibration you're describing is completely new to me. Embellish my present model using ceramics. Not the rotor/pad type, but an appearance package—that's what the red calibres mean.

Wheel alignment and balance are two of the few things. Do you have the original wheels? Then you should see whether hub centric rings are available.
