It sounds like the Merino option, no doubt about it. Are jeans typically your go-to pants? I can see how that could play a role.

Do specific USB ports support data transfer only? Do you have any USB C adapters on hand?

Does 2TB hold any significance on these more recent systems? Additionally, 2TE is the only option in the US ordering guide.

Honestly, I've never been a fan of jeans and have no intention of ever wearing them again.
There are only two USB C ports close to the cup holders, but this drive—all three of them—is a pure USB C device.
Oh my, I thought the 2TB had launch control. My 2TE definitely acts like a 2TB Sport Plus—it won't shift gears and will hit red line—something I learned the hard way—I hate engines that do that. In contrast to the expressive, efficient, and personally-oriented mode, there are sudden shifts in gear. With the exception of launch control, my G30 520d, which came with the 2TB option, felt identical.
