Distinction between the W140 rear shock part numbers?

Post by adriandf »

I have an SLS system in my 1995 S500 coupe; does anyone know if these two part numbers are compatible with each other?

Two numbers: 140 320 79 13 and 140 320 93 13.

How are they different?

Nothing is different. 79 13 was substituted by 93 13.

I completely agree. Later on, 9913 and 9613 took their places.
