Finding a 2026 300TE high pressure SLS hose
Finding a 2026 300TE high pressure SLS hose
Consequently, many of the posts regarding the replacement of this hose are quite old and provide advice that is out of date.
This morning I brought the hose assembly to two different hydraulic hose companies, but neither of them would even try to remove the fittings, let alone match the threads on the firewall side.
Nonetheless, the bigger store was certain they could find a hose compatible with the fittings provided I could provide them with the fittings.
After bringing the hose home, removing the fitting was a breeze. It was my mistake to not take care of that early on.
Tomorrow it's back to the hose stores. When it happens, I will let everyone know.

Re: Finding a 2026 300TE high pressure SLS hose
Since I was free, I took the hose and its now-detachable fittings to a different store.
These people were the most accommodating.
They suggested creating a new hose by brazing the fittings onto crimp connectors.
The flare nut side threads were likewise a mystery to them. On the other hand, they suggested that I could get a more conventional fit by removing the sharp line and creating a new flare.
Allowing them to braze the original fittings was my decision.
The total will include the price of the hose and one hour of labor.
The precise amount will be revealed to me when I go to retrieve it.

Can you explain what "standard fitting" means?
This entire fleet is metric. The last thing I need is for them to swap out the fittings for American Imperial sizes.

A store in the United States would not stock the flare nut because it is not a "standard" metric thread.
I was shown. They were unable to screw in their metric fitting.
Too fine are the threads.
Cutting and flaring the hard line appeared like a terrible idea, therefore I am not changing the thread. However, I believe it's still an option.

Many of these lines have been reconstructed for me.
Verify that the hose is of the appropriate type and application and that it is exclusively Aeroquip brand.
Verify that the silencer components are swapped out in the precise sequence as shown on the original.
If you don't, you might as well wind up with a hose that vibrates excessively and doesn't last very long.

I looked all over my hose, but I couldn't find any silencers. It might not have been modified for the first time.

In order to fit metric or double bubble gauges, the threads should be m10x1.0 flare. No competent shop should have any problems. Installation of brakes is rather typical.

I couldn't agree with the posters more; a replacement could be made quickly by any respectable hydraulic business.
