2011 Lexus RX 400h Limited
The JBL system in my Toyota RAV4 makes the radio sound like it skips to the beat of your music. The skipping grows quicker as your speed increases and slower as your speed decreases. Even though I switched to a Pioneer radio, this occurred before I did so. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

This is its function. Does the problem seem to be with the amplifier?

To me, it sounds like the engine's ignition system is causing electrical interference. How does it accomplish this? Is it solely dependent on the radio or does it use... Similarly to hooking up a phone by Bluetooth or another method.

As far as Bluetooth, USB, and CDs are concerned, it does it all.

First thing you should do is make sure the ground wire from the head unit is attached to a solid ground. Locate a chassis ground point and measure the resistance between the HU's ground wire and that spot. The ground wire, which is often white with a black stripe on Toyotas, is another option.

Sure, I'll give it a go. How would one go about connecting the ground wire to the head unit?

Into one of the HU's rear connectors. Likely a verdant wire. For confirmation, refer to the Pioneer HU handbook.

I am grateful.
