Outdated HVAC Module for 2009 F150

Post by tariqsm »

After replacing the blower motor resistor, my 2009 F-150 continues to only blow on high. I am unable to locate the part number 9L3Z-19980-XA, which the dealer claims is an HVAC module that is defective and has become outdated. This issue has been noticed by anyone else?

Did you look on Google and eBay for it?

Of course...the dealer did as well; it's currently stuck in that limbo between being outmoded and being available on the market; I'm planning to visit a pick-and-pull salvage yard next week in the hopes of finding one.

Explore the 2009 F-150 HVAC module on Google. Quite a selection

Will the vents turn on? Does airflow direction matter when switching from heat to air conditioning? Switches for high, medium, and low might be added to the fan resistor once it is rewired.
