Issue with the Reverse Turn Signal
Issue with the Reverse Turn Signal
Greetings, everyone! Everything is working properly on my '88 560SL until I switch on the headlights; then the rear right turn signal stays on and doesn't flash; the left turn signal, however, functions correctly. Do you have any suggestions?

Concerning the issue with your signal:
How functional is the right front?
Is it true that turning on both the lights and the emergency flasher causes the issue?

Re: Issue with the Reverse Turn Signal
Neither does the no-front blinker.

In the event of an emergency, do they not also flash?

Although everyone is continually thinking about something, sometimes such thoughts are just "kak idee" (as the Afrikaans would say).
To begin troubleshooting electrical gremlins, follow these steps:
1. Is it possible that connections were messed up or that all connectors were correctly installed in case there is a problem after working on it?
Secondly, in the event that the failure occurs "on its own," inspect the afflicted cluster's Negative strap to chassis. The current is quite similar to water in that it will find an other course if its intended one is disrupted.
