Can the "Chirp" alarm be activated through the vehicle's settings, or is that a task reserved for the dealer?

excellent inquiry on activating the alarm chirp. Has the option been hidden elsewhere in the car settings menu? Have you had a chance to look yet? The things you've tried in the past could give someone a clue as to whether it's a do-it-yourself fix or a trip to the dealer.

For whatever reason, I just don't feel confident utilizing BimmerCode, therefore I'm going to assume that the dealership can handle it too.
