Restoring headlights with a vapor kettle: my experience

Post by leila.baileyui »

Hi! Regarding the use of a vapor kettle for headlight restoration, I have a query. Is this solution anything anyone has tried before? Will this have an enduring impact? It appears from this video to be quite easy and cheap:

I don't understand where you're getting the parts and tools, but T-cut, polish, or even toothpaste appears to be the go-to recommendation around here. In your case, I recommend using Dura-Glit.

Simple, effective, and inexpensive for me: a T-cut and a polishing mop.

Last week, I used Dura-Glit to make the light filters for the bike rack. Perfect for minor scratches. Thankfully, our brick gateposts have generally spared our headlights, which are 25 years old.

Steam from a cup of hot acetone. Something like twenty pounds.
Exhale slowly and deliberately. That paint of yours.

fluids and physical effort. Afterwards, polish and further manual labor. Consistent every time.
