Protectors for Your Seats
My ride is a Mercedes 560sl from 1987. However, the original seat coverings are beginning to split and break, otherwise it is in perfect shape. I would very appreciate any recommendations you have for new seat coverings, as well as options to avoid.

Topsonline is great; I purchased leather from them before COVID. Fits good and holds up well despite the wear and tear.

The ones I purchased in 2012 from German Auto Tops in California are exact replicas of the MB models; I had no problems with either the finish or the quality.

Remember that several supplier mergers have taken place in the last 8 to 10 years, so the recommendations and advice you receive from people like Miko and me may not be applicable anymore. Get up-to-date reviews before you do any investigation.

My 1987 560 SL experienced the same issue during the past year. Despite the usually nice chairs, the left driver side bolster had a huge puncture. I went with GAHH automotive to have new leather for both seats as I wanted to update them. Visiting a nearby store to get the new leather fitted.
