We have disabled several features that new users can't access on the forum because of the current influx of spammers putting out useless messages. This prevents spammers from signing up and launching "under the radar" attacks.

But there's no need to fret. You will be promoted to full access after 10 days and 5 posts if you are a nice new member and do not spam.


The forum software will automatically censor your posts if they contain links, photos, or attachments within the first ten posts.

Neither this action nor regulated posts are reported to us, the human moderators. Unless we stumble upon this icon, which is about the size of a pencil eraser, among a row of icons on your post, we will remain in the dark.

If you want someone to check at your post or provide a link to it, you should send a private message to a moderator like ArmyRover or Tom R.

I would want to be a part of this, but I can't seem to upload a picture or publish anything. There is no method to contact the administrator, despite it saying so. If it had allowed, I would have attempted to post within the allotted ten days. How can I become a member of this community? Much obliged.

To be fair, from a technical standpoint, there has to be a more effective method for dealing with spammers. On the other hand, it was frustrating to have my thread erased without my knowledge or consent.
