In search of a reliable Ford dealer
I'm trying to decide between a brand-new Ford vehicle and a used one from the latest model year. I am really concerned about locating a dealership that provides a smooth and enjoyable buying experience.
While I would want to remain close to home in Wisconsin, I am open to traveling a little in search of the best value and experience. Please let me know where you think I should go shopping so that I may look at what they have in stock if you have a particular recommendation.
Much obliged.

Your search for "a dealership that offers a pleasant, low-stress transaction" is well-wishes.

I can't help but think about politicians whenever I talk to vehicle salespeople.

They can both tell you the truth and not feel guilty about it.

Re: In search of a reliable Ford dealer
I made my most recent purchase at Camelback Ford in Phoenix, Arizona, in September, however the travel was somewhat long. Even though my house is in Arizona, my family and I drove the 250 miles from our home in Southern California to the dealership for the hassle-free buying process and, as an added benefit, the reduced cost compared to California. Inquire about new vehicle sales with Mitch. Our Bronco arrived with dealer add-ons, as anticipated. No arguments were raised when the cost of the add-ons, which are often pricey "gravy" for the dealership, was removed upon request, even though they were still attached to the car. Even while I am unaware of any, I'm sure there are plenty of "straight shooting" dealerships in your area that are closer to Arizona. Also, car lots will try to upsell you on an extended warranty at every turn. I'll just say "no" even though it's fully up to you. Do what's right by your vehicle, and it will endure longer than any guarantee. Also, I've never used financing while buying a car. But I found out that dealerships profit from vehicle loans and offer steep discounts up front if you take out a loan instead of paying cash. So, borrow money, save money, and pay it back the next day. From $750 to $1,000 will be saved.

For the record, I also exclusively use cash. When negotiating prices in the past, it was a useful tool. But these days, getting a loan is more of a preference.

Lynch Ford in Mt. Vernon, Iowa is as stress-free as it gets, albeit it is a bit of a journey from Wisconsin. They will make deals with other dealers to acquire the item you want if they don't have it in stock. They will surely be able to locate what you need if you just tell them what it is.
