Attention, Drivers!
Regarding my 2025 Sorrento HEV, I was wondering if there was a way to disable the "Consider Taking a Break" Driver Attention Warning sign. I've exhausted all possible avenues (the options menu, the manual, etc.) in my quest to disable this feature, but to no avail. There must be some practical use for this warning, yet it appears whenever I'm not paying attention, whenever I change lanes, whenever it has nothing to do with safety, and most of the time with no apparent cause.
Even after disabling "Lane assist," the alerts keep popping up.
Covering the front camera seems like the only method to stop these messages. Has something slipped my mind?

Re: Attention, Drivers!
The alert was going off last year as I drove across the Canadian pariries. Please don't think I was veering off the road a bit. The waring vanished as soon as I turned on the lane assist.

Re: Attention, Drivers!
I appreciate your response. My dream is that mine would vanish. Turning the lane assist feature on or off has no effect on my car. These alerts continue to appear. Covering up the front camera might be tempting, but it would disable collision avoidance and other functions.
It seems that the Sorrento isn't one of the vehicles that allows you to disable this warning, while I've read that it's possible with some others.
Maybe I should simply accept that this is a part of the car, but I will keep trying to find a solution.

Re: Attention, Drivers!
Turning on lane maintain assist (but not lane centering) disables the warning on my US-spec vehicle.

Doubtful that hiding the camera will solve the problem. It may be a front radar assembly function. The driver assistance system will give you a warning if you try to hide it.

Re: Attention, Drivers!
Much obliged. It is clear to me that hiding the camera is not a smart idea. However, I have gotten a handful of ideas from the articles here that I can attempt. Although I don't see "Lane Keeping Assist" in my Settings (Canadian car), I do notice "Lane Safety" and will investigate its function if activated.
In addition, I will test out the on/off functionality by pressing the button on the right side of the steering wheel.
Although it is mentioned in the handbook, I am unable to locate the "Warning Methods" section under Driver Assistance.
The owner's handbook is confusing, but I'll experiment with the settings to see what works.
Much obliged.
