Hey there! I have a question regarding my l200. I requested the garage to change the water pump while they are at it. They quoted me an additional $500 on top of the $800 for the belt, indicating that the pump is on the opposite side of the engine and that it's a whole distinct operation. Is this correct? Thank you!

Their estimate for the additional labor is exorbitant given that the water pump is situated, as is typical with most pumps, in the front of the engine and not anywhere else.
