Re: couldn't reinstall the rear differential
To put my differential into the subframe, I had to twist it in, if my memory serves me right. Re: couldn't reinstall the rear differential
Did you adjust the differential bushings or anything else on the subframe when you removed the differential? Unfortunately, on my E39, I had the differential bushings pushed inward toward the subframe center by accident, which made it not fit. After adjusting those, the differential slid in just ...

Re: An Ioniq 5 Owner's Tragic Descendant

I bought it because of the reviews and ads on Tesla's website. Thankfully, it ...

Re: 2014's Outlander movie
The no-start and blank AC display are a peculiar electrical issue. Have we seen the simultaneous emergence of all these problems, or did one arise first? If you could elaborate a bit more on what happened, maybe someone could make sense of it.

Re: Engine vibration in a moving vehicle
I think it's a good idea to check the flex discs. I lifted the back wheels off the ground and put my Volvo diesel into gear when I felt vibrations; I could see the drive shaft support bobbing up and down. Its bearing was damaged.
A small number of people have had the flex disc separating under load ...

Re: S163: All-wheel drive
A four-wheel-drive transfer case from a Daimler Chrysler Jeep might potentially work.
Yeah, 4ETS depends on wheelspin to function fundamentally, regardless matter how good it is. In most cases, trails are not conducive to wheel spin.

Re: S163: All-wheel drive
There isn't a universally acknowledged definition that I could locate, but the consensus is that the distinction is:
Differential coupling, or t-case in our case, connects the front and back axles in all-wheel drive vehicles, while a transfer case divides torque between the axles in 4WD or 4x4 ...

Re: Disconnecting from Phone Keys
Unlocking my phone was enough to get my car to open on occasions when it did not respond to my walk-up command. Maybe the automobile was just being slow while talking on the phone and nothing to do with unlocking.
