Re: Officially Out of Commission for Nineteen Days or More

My best wishes for a smooth procedure and a speedier than expected recovery.
They have diagnosed me with "ripe" cataracts, and in two weeks, I will meet with a surgeon to discuss scheduling surgery. My vision is like peering through a foggy windshield — perhaps that's why Angel and Sunshine's ...

Re: Assist with Transmission

The scan gets my vote. I don't understand how some people can justify spending $200 on a scanner while others can go crazy replacing parts they don't even need. Purchasing a vehicle of this vintage is a wise financial decision because you never know when you might need it.

You should start by ...

Re: More trustworthy?

Much obliged. I did a lot of research online and have been a lurker on this site for a time. Something about the turbo and the oil usage worries me. Before we sold it, my wife's 2014 Chevrolet Equinox was consuming over 2 litres of gas every week. I refuse to go through that ordeal again.

Problems ...

Re: More trustworthy?

They are almost identical in terms of reliability.

Poor servicing or an incorrect timetable has caused known CVT faults in the RVR, ASX, and Outlander sports.

The oil consumption of Eclipse Cross models prior to 2021 is problematic.

Eclipse cross features state-of-the-art technology.

You can ...

Re: More trustworthy?

I appreciate your detailed response. Thanks a tonne! My car, a Mirage G4, is also quite inexpensive, but I absolutely adore it and it has served me well. Additionally, a Sport with the 2.4 is not easy to come by in the US. Nearly all of them have 2.0.

More trustworthy?

If you ask the experts, would you trust the RVR or the Eclipse Cross more? Would like to purchase one of these items. I am grateful.

Re: Boot and bearing set for the 2019 Range Rover Sport SVR L494's steering shaft

No power steering fluid is necessary because you should have electronic power steering. It is strange that it would bind up in the firewall bearing. You need to exercise extreme caution if you want to check it. In order to check for binding, you must first disconnect the steering shaft from the ...

Re: Help with replacing the cahin on a 2009 Mini Cabrio R57

I only ever install complete kits from FAI since their timing chain kits have everything you need, including sprockets, vvt hubs, rocker gaskets, front oil seals, and oil pump chains. This is because I usually replace the chain and the oil pump at the same time.

Re: Model B120

It seems like you'd need to find someone with access to 3D printers to get them created. Does it truly matter if the camper has them or not? Is it for a concours d'elegance or something similar? Body parts alone must be more uncommon than hens teeth, much alone the Master's ordinary components.
