What if we tried connecting the OBD to a different vehicle?

There was a period when my ECU was having issues and my OBDLink LX wouldn't communicate. Following the repair by the ECU repair shop, I was compelled to jumper my fuel pump relay.
The ECU is operational once again, and my OBD can communicate.

After replacing the blower motor resistor, my 2009 F-150 continues to only blow on high. I am unable to locate the part number 9L3Z-19980-XA, which the dealer claims is an HVAC module that is defective and has become outdated. This issue has been noticed by anyone else?
